There are times when I have reeealllyyy thought about the mood a pic has to convey.. wondered what do I want the picture to say.. what mood a picture should feel like.. but sometimes, very rarely, it’s effortless.. a calm evening, a delicious plate of food and a gentle breeze by the window. That was when this picture came to life. Something so serene about the moment. Such bliss.. it’s everything.. grateful for such lil moments that make a simple day something to be grateful for. #blessed #peace #happiness #everydayextraordinary #pause #breathe #grateful
Do you freely breathe or do you live in a cage that no one can see..
Some meals are weaved into the fabric of our lives. The moment you start cooking or have that first bite, it’s enormously calming. A quiet settles. It’s the kind of food that makes you keep your phone aside, turn off the tv and just enjoy. As much as the negative rap it gets online, Upma is that kinda meal. A well made one, with some chutney and a cup of tea is the meal that settles every nerve. There is something so familiar. So ancient about it, that I honestly cannot think of a week without it. The new has a place but as time flies, it’s that very predictability that really puts one at ease. What’s your calming meal?
I read somewhere recently creative minds are rarely tidy and it hit a chord. I for one am always thinking, re thinking and over thinking most things. As much as it helps being creatively fresh and productive, it also gets draining. I don’t know if others feel the same way or if being extremely organised proves more fruitful. Either way this piece is the goal for 2021. Have a lovely day, y’all ❤️
Just gonna have one pot meals for the rest of the year.. one pot sambar sadham made with store bought sambar powder..
